WHM GOES TO HOLLYWOOD
Here at WHM, our employees are known for “wearing many hats” at work, everyone seemingly combining a plethora of jobs into one title. But one of our partners, Brad Hennig, is showing that he’s not just incredibly dexterous in the office: he’s also currently producing a feature-length movie that he wrote.
The movie, titled The Hot Flashes, stars Brooke Shields, Daryl Hannah, Wanda Sykes, Camryn Manheim and Eric Roberts, and is directed by Susan Seidelman (Desperately Seeking Susan). The story centers around five middle-aged women who team up to form an unlikely basketball team to save the mobile mammography unit in their rural Texas town. A raucous comedy, the film started production in New Orleans in early February, where Brad has been wearing his writer-producer hat on the set.
While we’ve missed having Brad around these past few weeks, we are infinitely proud of our budding Hollywood star!
