Everyone deserves an advocate and an opportunity■
A BRAND THAT IS WORTHY OF AN ICONIC NONPROFIT
PRC (formerly Positive Resource Center) helps people in San Francisco affected by HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, or mental health issues get the opportunities they deserve by providing a variety of integrated legal, social, and health services.
PRC is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. After having merged with two other nonprofits in the Bay Area, they needed help telling their own story. Together, we developed a rebrand that enveloped their expanded offerings in a thoughtful, strategic way.

BRIDGE TO BETTERMENT
The logo – with a nod to the iconic Bay Area bridges – symbolizes the path to reaching one’s full potential. Like the structure of a bridge, there may be ups and downs, but with a solid foundation built on PRC’s help, people can rise up and move forward. The Bridge to Betterment logo also conveys connection – the bridging of services that PRC offers and the strong ties that PRC creates within the community.
BYE, BYE BLAH
Inspired work for an inspiring client.
A HOME FOR COMPASSIONATE CARE
Consolidating 3 former organizations’ websites into one succinct story, we worked closely with the PRC team to build an entirely new web presence from the ground up. PRC offers a large variety of services for people with differing needs, so we began with a site structure that made it easy for all of PRC’s clients to find the information they were looking for. Then we designed every page with the new brand to ensure a consistent look and compassionate voice throughout the website experience.
THE PROMISE OF PROGRESS
Clever and colorful, the brand welcomes clients and instills them with a sense of hope and progress. The system of curved bars is also quite flexible, expanding and contracting to highlight key information and add a dynamic feel to layouts.
PRC’s new brand, expertly shepherded by the WHM creative team, is a reflection of a $24M agency for the 21st Century. The process was as polished and professional as the final product: a brand and logo that represent the heart and soul of PRC.

Think outside the box, by thinking inside the box.
Sometimes we can come up against tricky limitations, like client confidentiality. In those cases, turn the constraints into a guide to come up with visual solutions that can end up being so much better and more innovative.
Passionate leaders create passionate brands.
The PRC team was dynamic, informed, and passionate about the work that PRC does, how they serve their clients, who the clients are and what they need, and how their lives can be changed. Getting that insight into PRC’s clients – and their journey – created in our team an empathy and depth of understanding that reflected in the quality of the work
Do work you feel good about.
In our industry, using our creative talents to do work that makes a difference is how we stay inspired. And working with a brand that is 100% about doing good for people, changing lives, bettering and elevating the community – that’s the best kind of work there is.
