Oakland marketing firm collects six international awards, with four coming from work with Bay Area companies
Oakland, CA–April 12, 2018: In a field of more than 1,350 submissions from 37 countries, WHM Creative, a B2B tech-focused marketing agency, has won one Platinum, two Gold, and three Rose Gold awards in the 2018 Muse Creative Awards competition, an international competition for top creative professionals.
“We recognize the breakthrough achievement of designers, marketers, artists, writers, photographers, videographers, and digital experts who set the trends of the global creative industry,” said Kenjo Ong, President of the International Awards Associates (IAA).
Recently relocated from San Francisco to Oakland’s Uptown District, WHM Creative is a full-service marketing and advertising agency determined to breathe fresh air into the B2B marketing space for world-class clients – and their approach has caught fire with some of the largest technology clients in the world. In the last three years alone, WHM has experienced 3X growth. “We’re always trying to push the envelope on what B2B marketing can be,” said Co-Founder and Partner Audrey Merritt. “And it’s especially rewarding to see our work recognized by our industry peers.”
The Platinum award was given to WHM’s design for the Cisco Root Access Podcast Series Interface. Cisco produced a series of podcasts focused on cybersecurity and privacy, hosted by security researcher Josh Pyorre. WHM both created the Root Access identity and designed and developed the website hosting the podcast episodes. After the success of the first season, Cisco produced a second.
The first of the two Golds was awarded to WHM’s website for the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a non-profit organization managing the trail connecting the ridgelines around the San Francisco Bay. The striking, innovative website features an interactive map which allows users to drill down into any area of the 360-mile trail, tapping into key route points to get details – trail terrain, difficulty level – and see dynamic updates.
The second Gold was awarded to WHM’s logo design for Aptrinsic, an end-to-end product analytics and engagement platform based in San Mateo.
WHM Creative also received three Rose Gold awards. The first was for their comprehensive rebrand for Origami Logic, a marketing analytics company headquartered in Mountain View. The second and third were for materials created for Orig3n, a revolutionary biotech company simultaneously building the world’s largest human blood cell repository and offering at-home DNA tests. The awards were given both for packaging design and for the design and production of the Orig3n 49ers Faithful Mile exhibit outside Levi’s Stadium. This exhibit leveraged a shipping container to educate 49ers fans about the incredible potential of regenerative medicine and invited fans to contribute to the cause by donating a teaspoon of blood.
“This brand activation experience has become the gold standard when enticing other brands to exhibit on the Faithful Mile,” explained Thomas Whalen, WHM Co-Founder and Partner.
